# The Nomades Series 

I invite you to remember that all the Nomade-paintings are to be seen as possibilities! i.e. the way they are presented here is only just one way, never THE RIGHT way: there is no right or wrong in the Nomades'world, only possibilities...

§ THE PREHISTORICS:

Prehistoric because of the colours (the whole scale of ochres, black and white), because of the rhythmical act of creating (with percussion music), because of the «pre-historical» spirit in which the paintings are created. Prehistoric also because the «primality» of their message is expressing something coming from very ancient times.

§ THE HISTORICS:

The Historic Nomades are based upon a cultural inspiration. This is then my fascination for a specific culture and geographic area that gives the primary impulse to the painting. Then the muses and «my cell memory» embroider the rest!

§ THE SYMBOLICS:

Symbolic because the theme is more abstract, like an idea or an emotion. The particular rejoins the general in the symbolism. Hence this series as a way to create a bridge between words and emotions. The sharing of those nameless ineffable sensations that make us human beings.

§ THE STARDUSTS:

Stardust, poussière d'étoile en anglais. Des couleurs douces de bleu, blanc neige, cendre, des jeux de transparences, des reflets métalliques.
«Qui sommes-nous, D'où venons-nous, où allons-nous?»
Le reste est toujours ailleurs, toujours un peu plus loin...
