An entertaining way to bring Fine Arts to schools and other public all around the Dordogne country. The U «accent grave» by Elvire Parazols, a window-painting to discover the letter U in all its ancient forms until today: an archeological game for a painting, that is something! The show started in July 2010 in Beaumont du Perigord (Dordogne, France) and goes on all around the land until 2012
(roll over with your mouse to open it!!)

The triptych presents all the archeological versions of the U, and also 3 with their accent. Elvire wants us to get into the role of an archeologist discovering the rests of an Alphabet Table as if found under the grounds of a woody forest... Would you find the Us «accent grave» amongst all their ancestors?!
